    Love Never Fails
    Series: Love Always
In the last installment of "Love Always," Paul reminds us in scripture that love never fails. It never quits, never gives up. When we say love never fails, we're not worrying about failures or sucess. There will be moments of heartache and pain--occasions that feel like failure. But we make it through those moments by focusing our hearts on what's eternal--the love of God that never fails.

    Love Looks Foward
Love for Paul was not an abstract idea. Love is not merely a theory or philosophical exercise or even an emotion. For Paul, love is a behavior; love is action. We take a look at "love at hopes"--and hope always looks forward never looking back.

    Love Always Trusts
As we continue "Love Always," we look at the age-old principle "innocent until proved guilty." The sayings has been rooted back to Genesis 1-3 in the Garden of Eden. It was God's declaration of "Adam, where are you?" that gives light to innocence until proven guilty. So how do we trust someone, innocent or guilty, especially when they have wronged us? Apostle Paul said it eloquently, "love always trusts."

    Love Springs No Leak
    Series: Love Always
We start a brand new sermon series on Easter entitled "Love Always." We dig deep into 1 Corinthians 13 -- one of the most well read parts of the Bible -- especially at weddings. In this message, Pastor Jim uses the images of a roof, dinosaurs, and a kiddie pool to describe how God's love for us never leaks.

    Can’t or Won’t?
Good Friday was indeed a good day when we consider what Jesus accomplished on the cross for our sins. And yet, when he was mocked and dared to save himself from the cross; it's not like he couldn't save himself, he just wouldn't. He wouldn't not save himself because his love was deep and wide for us. That -- that is why it was a Good Friday!

    Denying Jesus
We wrap up the sermon series, "The Week That Changed Everything," by looking at Peter. He was probably proud to walk alongside Jesus as they enter Jerusalem.  Only a week later, to deny Jesus not once, not twice, but three times! [insert a rooster crow] However, that's not the end of Peter's story. Nor is it the end of our story!

    Questioning Jesus
Have you ever been falsely accused? Many probably have...but none more famous than Jesus being accused by the Sanhedrin, a group of rabbis and religious leaders who served in the courts. They falsely accused Jesus of many things, and even met in the deep of night, and yet they could not find two witnesses who corroborated the same story. Jesus' response? Silence. He knew that integrity needed no defense.

    Disappointing Jesus
Our expectations can outweigh our reality. Take for instance reviews online. You might see a 5-star rated hotel and expect big things of that hotel chain. Yet you might experience a 2-star rated service and your reality of that hotel diminishes. It was the same for Jesus and his friends -- Peter, James, and John -- as he went to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus, in the moment of need his closest disciples let him down. They were unable to stay awake. Find out how God shatters our disappointments and increases our maturity and holiness.
