Many have heard the phrase, “trust but verify,” but for Thomas (as known as Doubting Thomas), this was never more true. You see, he requested to see the hands, feet and side of Jesus before he believed that his friend, Jesus, had resurrected from the dead. When Jesus shows up, Thomas unbelief turns into belief. He sees and touches the wounds of Jesus right in front of his eyes. Often in our own times of unbelief, we need to see that Jesus’ resurrection can turn  our unbelief into something possible. Because He lives…we can have belief beyond the suffering.
