Tragedy to Triumph
We all love a good story! From Shakespeare's plays to C.S. Lewis' writing to Hamilton on broadway -- Stories are powerful and effective when used in certain ways. Personal stories, ones that have low moments and high moments -- you could say tragedies and triumphs. Mark, too, had a story he wanted to tell about Jesus. We see in Mark's gospel writings that a historical event happened on that Good Friday, one that was very familiar to his Roman Christian audience. We have no context of the final days of Jesus in our modern era, until now...
