Why Our Church

We know visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: worship, preaching, and kids. We’d love to have you visit and be a part of these elements that make up who we are. A typical Sunday service will last approximately an hour in length.
The mission of our church is to bring awareness of God’s Truth. People and children of all ages are encouraged to learn about their own faith and the role of the church in our lives, community and worldwide. Preaching is practical, Bible-based, speaking to real life issues, and encourages all to apply God’s Word to your lives.
Our worship team plays modern worship songs–similar to what you might hear on a Christian radio station. The music is led by guitars, drums, and keyboards, with lyrics displayed on a screen in front. We also offer times of prayer, so you can connect with God in a very personal manner.
We have a strong sense of community with one another and new guests. You will be greeted at the door by our warm and friendly volunteers. We won’t single you out, put you on the spot, embarrass you, judge you, or expect anything from you. If you wish to become a part of our church or a volunteer to help those in need, our community is awaiting you with our open hearts.
Our cafe team is here to serve up a fresh cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. The best part–it’s free. We are now serving Land of Thousand Hills coffee. This coffee is from Rwanda mountains and is helping the country to heal after the genocides in 1992. You can read more about this company here. Drink Coffee. Do Good.

We want you to have peace of mind leaving your children in the care of our Children’s Ministry workers, thus we want you to know that all of our volunteers have been screened for background check and there are multiple adults with emergency response training present. Furthermore, our volunteers love children, and work hard to provide a safe, fun, nurturing children’s program at our 9:30 service. Nursery is available at both services. We also have a parent-child room for you to be with your kids as you can see and listen to the service while your kids can be kids!
